A Night for Mikey

I created a tribute poster in collaboration with Matt Eskey for the Allen Oldies Band's memorial show honoring their late bassist Mikey Trafton, former chief technology officer at Alamo Drafthouse. The concert will be held at Austin Beer Garden Brewing Company in November 2025. Influenced by 1960s jazz poster aesthetics, the poster is composed of a bold line drawing of Mikey with hand-illustrated lettering set against a bold orange background. The Allen Oldies Band has been bringing the excitement of the Fifties and Sixties Hit Parade to audiences since 1996 with high-energy performances led by frontman Allen Hill.
