Love + Freedom

I created the hand lettering for Grammy Award-winning country and roots music legend Joe Ely's 29th album, "Love and Freedom," released in February 2025. The hand-drawn letters were crafted on paper and brought into Photoshop for refinement. I collaborated with Matt Eskey to create the complete album cover, and the artwork was subsequently turned into merchandise including t-shirts and CDs available for purchase. The album features themes of immigration, poverty, war, justice, love, and freedom, with songs Ely had been accumulating for decades from his archives.
